Quantum, Clear/Black

The great novelty of the quantum mask is that in addition to offering increased downward vision, it prevents the phenomenon of fogging, through a thermoregulation inside the mask of the hot and humid air that comes out of the nose. This is channeled by a system of membranes obtained in the mold around the eyes and nose, which divert the flow towards the rubber walls and not towards the glass. In the external part of the walls there is a cooling system consisting of two small heat exchangers that work like real radiators. The effect is that the temperature inside the mask drops, approaching the external one, and that the droplets of humidity are trapped before the air reaches the glass, thus preventing them from fogging. Despite the presence of the small internal membranes that divert the air flow and the external heat exchangers, the structure of the quantum mask is still compact and represents the most advanced that the market has to offer in underwater vision. The lenses are not chemically treated, so it should be remembered that when the mask is new, as is recommended for all masks, it is best to clean the lenses well with toothpaste, dish soap or simply use the lighter to burn all the volatiles and impurities deposited on the glass.
